Zambrone in Calabria
Zambrone in Calabria is a small tourist resort situated on the western tip of the Tyrrhenian Sea in the Golfo di Sant’Eufemia. Located just 5 km north of the picturesque and most visited city in Calabria – Tropea, this coastal town offers rugged, 4 km long beach, featuring the white sand and the sea with all shades of cyan color. The waters here can be up to 50 meters deep at some places. In 2003, League of Environmental and Italian tourist club awarded five flags and this beach is considered to be one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Italy.
It is a quieter location consisting of hotels and residential villas, especially suitable for those who like taking a holiday of sun, sea and swimming. Typical products of this part of Calabria, in addition to dried figs, peppers and onions, delicatessen, also licorice. On a clear day you can see the nearby island of Stromboli with a still active volcano.

Tropea
– Is one of the most visited cities in Calabria. It is situated on the border and the Gulf of Gioia Tauro Sant’Euphemio. The town was founded in the Greco-Norman period, of which preserved a wealth of historical monuments, such as the Norman cathedral from the 11th century, the Church of the Virgin Mary, built on top of a rocky cliff with a steep staircase leading upstairs, St. Francis of Assisi and many other buildings, which together with its narrow streets creates the typical atmosphere of the city.
