Madonna di Campiglio offers about 70 km of slopes and together with other adjacent areas of Folgarida and Marileva it is up to 120 km of slopes. All are regularly maintained and about 60% of them are supported by artificial snow in case of need. High pressure guns are along the slopes and ensure safe skiing from the beginning up to the end of the season. You can ski on 22 blue, 13 red and 5 black slopes. Among the most challenging slopes are racing slope 3-Tre starting at the top of Palon peak (2,123 meters above sea level), black Amazonia leading from Pradalago or black slope from Monte Spinale. Around Monte Spinale there are also a number of red lines, and then on Passo del Grosté are wide and soft slopes with good snow.
There are 8 lifts, 16 chairlifts and 6 cable cars with a capacity of 33,000 people per hour. In addition, the gondola in Grosté is with its length of 7 km one of the longest in the world, and in half an hour spent in the gondola you can enjoy a unique view of the surrounding countryside and massive mountain peaks.
You can get to Madonna di Campiglio from the Val di Sole if you get over the Passo Campo Carlo Magno. For the snowboarders there is a modern snow park with rails, 100 meters long halfpipe, 2 large jumps, quarter-pipe and boarder-cross. There are also up to 17 ski schools with more than 150 instructors available for you and prepared to teach you everything you need to do with skiing.
