Golfo Aranci – where Costa Smeralda begins
In the northeastern part of the Italian island of Sardinia, at Capo Figari, you can find coastal town of Golfo Aranci, which has become a popular and sought after tourist destination.
Capo Figari rises to a height of 340 meters and has become a small and unique nature reserve. Golfo Aranci was once just a small fishing port, which over time, with the development of tourism on the island, turned into a pleasant holiday resort providing its visitors with high quality facilities and services.

The Gulf Coast attracts visitors not only for its beautiful beaches with white sand, but also for romantic coves, rocks towering from the sea and the great surrounding landscape. The bay is surrounded by hills protecting it from wind and adverse weather conditions.
In the center of town guests can enjoy dinners in a number of restaurants, cafes and bars. Via della Liberta is the main street that cuts the town, and is full of small and souvenir shops.

There is also a sports center with the possibility of renting equipment for scuba diving, windsurfing and other water sports. There are also several travel agencies that organize trips to the surrounding area, so you can explore nearby islets, such as Isola di Figarolo.
The town offers a unique view of the Tyrrhenian Sea and nearby islands of Tavolara and Molara. If you rent a car, you can go to a nearby Olbia or other resorts such as Porto Rotondo, Porto Cervo or Portisco.
